ABOUT DEADMANZ:
DEADMANZ, also known as Dead Man's or Deadmans, was a 'temporary' unit formed by Hasumi Keito during the story 'Crossroads'. It was used for Sakuma Rei of the 5 Eccentrics' excecution, mandated by Tenshouin Eichi. The name of the story signifies how Keito and Rei's paths were never meant to cross the way it did again, and that one of them had taken the wrong path.
Despite Keito wanting the unit to disband, it instead was reused during RepayFes then eventually changed hands to form UNDEAD. The name UNDEAD was chosen by Koga post-final live as it siginifies how they as DEADMANZ, or more likely Rei himself, would never actually die, and instead would rise from the grave.
